Bring your little ones and engage in a range of fun activities, including dancing, story times and animal watching. The KIDS Festival is an excellent opportunity for your munchkin to experience demonstrations of essential services, including Ambulance, Fire Truck.
Happening on October 14th at 3205 S. Staples Street at 9 am – 1pm
Participate in the ‘Monster Mash Walk’ by dressing up as your best non-scary costume and dancing to the beats of DJ Infinity at 11am!
Bring non-perishable food items for the Coastal Bend Food Bank and stand a chance to win the Daniel Tiger’s Trolley!
Please remember the following details to make the most of your time at the KEDT Kids Festival!
- Indoor/Outdoor Venue: The event will take place both indoors and outdoors. It’s important to plan for the unpredictable South Texas weather. Be prepared for varying weather conditions throughout the event.
- Meet and Greet with Daniel Tiger & Clifford: Daniel Tiger & Clifford are available for meet and greet from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Texas Zoo: The event, Texas Zoo Animals Ambassador Program, will have only one show, starting promptly at 10 AM at KEDT Plaza.
- Expected Wait Times: Due to the immense popularity of our special guests, Daniel Tiger & Clifford, long wait times are anticipated. Your patience is highly appreciated during the event.
- Character Breaks: Daniel Tiger & Clifford will be taking short breaks, lasting 10-15 minutes, every 30 minutes. Please remain in line if you want to keep your spot to meet them.
